Constructing an Outfit w/The Gap & J Crew

Alright this one is more for me. I just needed an outside opinion because I showed it to a few family members & they straight slammed my shit! Especially my moms. She claims that a denim jacket on top of a denim shirt is too hot but I disagree. I honestly think she doesn't like the fact that I'm wearing 9 inch shorts. (They stop above my knees) But give me your opinion.

Ok up first I bought the Iconic Denim Jacket from the Gap in a medium. It fits nice. I didn't want it to be all baggy & what not. I think I'm going to roll the sleeves up or atleast flip them up one time.

I also got the Fitted chambray shirt from the Gap. It's not as light as advertised. I'm going for a clean/cut look so I think I'll tuck it inside my shorts.

As for bottom I decided to go with the 9inch lightweight chino short from Jcrew. They're a little too light which makes them look like school shorts but I can look past that.

Now for shoes I got the Capital by Rockport Thorndike Wingtip Oxford. But mine are brown. Online they're $90 but I found them in the store for $59. Talk about a steal! They only had a 10 & 11 though. I could have went for a 10.5 but I oped for the 10. There was no way I was going to be wearing boats!

I might funk it out with a pair of shades. I could go for a new watch since my Cheapo broke. But what do you think about it??

Constructing an Outfit w/ Ralph Lauren

Ok so everyone stand back while I deliver my one-two punch!

First up I spotted the Color-Block Racerback Dress. At first when I seen the front I wasn't so crazy about it but..

when I seen the back I was like "yea this one's a winner.

Of course what's a dress without the matching bag to go with it..

And last but not least, the Pasha Platform Sandal to compliment your feet. Hopefully those toes will be done haha

You can get all of these pieces at Ralph Lauren

Constructing An Outfit w/..

Yep you guessed it. My ex favorite store Urban Outfitters

I spotted this shrunken flannel. It's actually a classic vintage men's flannel but it is fitted in a more modern, feminine fit and topped with cropped sleeves. It's only $48. There are more colors available too.

Next we have the 'I love new shit' v neck tee. It retails at $28. I think it's really dope but I wouldn't wear it if you're gonna wear the flannel over it.

Or you could wear the 'Vive Le Pop' deep v neck tee. It's on sale for $19

If you don't like those two you could pick out the 'Tokyo Heart' burnout crew neck tee. It's only $14

As for bottoms I liked the BDG 5-pocket denim short. They're $48.

Or you could go for the lighter jeans & get the Levi destroyed denim shorts for only $28. If you want my opinion, I'd pass on these. It looks as if you could destroy an old pair of jeans & they'll come out looking like this. But hey it always looks that way when you try to play fashion designer & screw up a pair of jeans.

Last for shorts, I found the BDG destroyed denim shorts. Now these look much more neat than the Levi's. They're $58. So it's your choice. Go cheap & messy or a little bit pricey & neat.

Now as for shoes, I would say it depends on the occasion. If you're gonna wear this to a walk in the park or just a regular outing, I suggest a pair of red authentic Vans. I absolutely love those shoes. They can go with anything. Get 'em at Zappos to take advantage of free shipping. But if you're going to the club or a party, I would wear heels. Not sure which ones but def. heels

Ok I think this conclude today's segment of 'Constructing An Outfit'

Constructing An Outfit w/ J.Crew

& you get free shipping when you spend $150 or more. Just enter CS-989 at the checkout.

Ok soo this is my Mardi Gras outfit so don't steal this!
Up first we have the lightweight cotton-wool cardigan. It can be dark blue, it really doesn't matter.

The 9 inch broken-in-chino shorts will go well with the blue cardigan

As for shoes, you can wear the suede Mc Callister boots for $135

As for accessories I like these:

Constructing an Outfit w/ Jcrew

This time around I'm going to put something together for a guy. Well not just any guy. This is for me ^_^. And There isn't much putting together I need to do. I just felt like sharing with someone.

Ok so up first we have the Fine-stripe cotton Aldridge two-button suit jacket coming in at $248. I dont think I could go wrong by wearing a white shirt under it. Or a light pink button down. Depends on how I'm feeling.

Then the Fine-stripe cotton suit pant to go along with the jacket. Retailing at $118

As for shoes! I want these. The Kanye x Louis Vuiton sneakers. Hopefully they'll come out by May so I can wear this for prom.

This is a little too high for me so if I can find an alternate suite the same color as this one I will switch. How did I do??

Constructing an Outfit w/ Urban Outfitters

Ok I'm about to attempt to put an outfit together for a female. Wish me luck.
Click the pic to go straight to the product

So first up I spotted this Insight Fly in My Sky Dress retailing at $78.

Then you could wear this Mouchette Cropped Cardigan over it. It really doesn't have to be cold outside. These things are usually thin anyways. It's only $42.

Ok I think a pair of thin tights would go well with this outfit. Nothing extra, just something that will give your legs that brown tone. Only wear tights if you wear heels. But if you have great legs & you wanna flaunt them, skip this part.

As for shoes I like these
Frye Dara T-Strap Heel $188. A little high right. You can go to Forever 21 to get a pair that look the same & cost way less. But I find it real corny to mix Forever 21 with UO. But hey we wont know unless you tell us.

UO Macrame Leather Sandal

As for accessories I like this Kimchi Blue Crochet Belt for $20

& a nice clutch would top this outfit off. I say clutch because I hate when chicks wear those HUGE! purses.
