I remember doing the original post of the first trailer, so you know I'm amped to post the part two! This movie is gonna be some ill shit! The plot revolves around the world's #2 super villain, Gru, as voiced by Steve Carell trying to one-up the #1 super villain. Who cares about a hero right?!

....and Pharrell is the musical director, gets to better!

This movie looks like something that I would really wanna see, its a Pixar joint I believe, plus Pharrell had a hand in doing the soundtrack including the title track! Pharrell's Advice To Up & Coming Artists

I was using Internet Explorer while blogging the other day & I noticed that when I edit the Youtube clips you don't see the grey part with the play button. You see the upper part of the video with the title in it. But in Firefox you see the grey part. So I'll have to do something different for music. I might go back to just the download links.
But anyways, Pharrell gives all of you aspiring artists some inside info on how to come up in the music biz. I suggest that you take heed.

Pharrell to write Movie Score

Pharrell, who to me seems as though he just DOES NOT AGE has been snagged by Universal Pictures to to the movie score for the upcoming film Zoom.

Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment have set Preston Whitmore to write and direct “Zoom,” a music-themed film that teams “8 Mile” producer Brian Grazer with musician and music producer Pharrell Williams.

Grazer and Williams will produce. Williams will compose the score and soundtrack.

“Zoom” is the story of a troubled West Virginia youth who attends a music academy and finds his voice and a place in the world.

Congrats to Pharrell, doing a movie score is a really good look! Here's a little Thursday morning throwback Pharrell for you.
