Ok im convince that this guy is headed for greatness! Excellent video.
Click here to see more from their lookbook.
Great day to bring the day in eh?
Can we please get music like this back!?
This is the same guy who created the lego bear for Kanye. Click here to view.
Another hot one from Usher! Boy I tell ya when your album doesnt do good get back in the booth & drop some heat!
This sounds very much so like a Danity Kane song. Since they're not together anymore maybe their song writers decided to give this one away to Nivea. Speaking of her, she's been gone so long I forgot what she sounds like. But this is a good track from her. Nice to hear from her.
TK teams up with Supra to deliver some fresh kicks! Although there is no release date on these yet, Im saving my money for the black 1's
And I am feeling good! Sorry for the lack of posts from me this week. I was busy "studying" for my semester exams but my partner Vick really held it down. I tip my hat to her. But yesterday I got my hair retwisted & I walked the mall. Although I didn't buy anything, I didn't walk out empty handed. I paid a visit to Barnes & Nobles, got my usual strawberry & creme frap from Starbucks & I sat down & read a couple of magazines. Actually I only read one but I looked at many. But most important of all I got some blog ideas. I read the interview Vibe did with Kanye & I must say that it is one of the best I have ever read. Kanye always catches flack from the media for being arrogant, obnoxious, & just a straight up cry baby. I feel bad for him sometimes. But his interview was filled with so much inspiration. When I hear this guy speak I always take something away from it. Meaning, I absorb what he says & try to apply it to my life.
This part of the interview stood out to me:
"I'd rather have 20,000 die-hard fans that really understand & accept you as a person and a human being and an artist than to have 100,000 fly-by-night fans that only like you because you have a hit record out."
I can really relate to what this guy said. Not in the aspect of me having fans but in the aspect of me having friends. I would prefer a foundation of a few supportive friends than be surrounded by a bunch of some timers. All I'm saying people is love the people who love you & forget about the extras. With that being said, go get your cheese & crackers, pull up a chair & prepare to be entertained. =)

This is really a good song! This cut if from DJ 31 Degreez's "Home of the Giants" mixtape
Dont get me wrong, he & timberline make a dynamic duo but you have to switch it up sometime. The beat sounds the same almost every song. It's still worth listening to & I am always eager to hear Justin's music.
bigger than the world - justin timberlake
Just in time for the Inauguration eh.
LMFAO is really they're name. I dont really care for the song but I enjoyed the vidoe. And not because they were half naked girls in it.
Ryan Leslie x Kid Cudi @ studio from Vernonmac on Vimeo.
I dont want it to seem like im riding Cud but I only posted this because of Ryan. I know my partner Vick loves this guy so I felt it was only right to post it ;)
You ever dropped something heavy on your foot? That's what my face looked like when I saw the hi top brown 1's. I really haven't seen anything like these out right now. You can expect these to release in the upcoming months.
I've been wanting a Starter jacket for the longest & just as it slipped my mind, Dee & Ricky team up with No Mas to deliver these wonderful contemporary duffel bags. You can get yours over at Colette

this is going to be the GREATEST movie ever created.
end of story.
So, my favorite channel's to watch on tv are the History Channel and the Science channel right...and I was watching some shit on Nebula's and thought to myself, "Gee wiz, that would make a dope ass t-shirt" and yes my thoughts did include the phrase "Gee wiz" because I am a lame. But that's all besides the point! I'm thinking Imma get one of these smart/artistic muhhfuckers in the design program to commission a shirt with a nebula on it and rock that shit! In case you did'nt know what a nebula was...here's the skinny...
A nebula (from Latin: "cloud" ; pl. nebulae or nebulæ, with ligature or nebulas) is an interstellar cloud of dust, hydrogen gas and plasma. Originally nebula was a general name for any extended astronomical object, including galaxies beyond the Milky Way (some examples of the older usage survive; for example, the Andromeda Galaxy was referred to as the Andromeda Nebula before galaxies were discovered by Edwin Hubble). Nebulae often form star-forming regions, such as in the Eagle Nebula. This nebula is depicted in one of NASA's most famous images, the "Pillars of Creation". In these regions the formations of gas, dust and other materials 'clump' together to form larger masses, which attract further matter, and eventually will become big enough to form stars. The remaining materials are then believed to form planets, and other planetary system objects.
Now once, you've read that you can't tell me that's not dope son! Your shirt could be an image that very well might one day be a star or a planet!

Im not going to post the interview. I just thought the photos were dope. You can view the full interview HERE
So, I recently had a chance to go see not one, but two Floopy Head shows when they were down here in New Orleans, and got an interview with my son Charles whose the drummer in the band. If you didn't know, Floopy Head is one of the DOPEST bands in New Orleans right now and if you ask me, they're just plain dope in general...So I held it down and got a few questions in....here goes nothing
Vick -Floopy Head is a pretty unconventional name. Where exactly did it come from.Charles- The name came when all the guys were practicing and we were brainstorming names. We couldn't think of any good ones and then our keyboardist started joking around and started making crazy names. Floopy Head was one of them and we all laughed when we first heard it. Then about a week or two before our first performance we still didn't have a name and we went around our school with a list of about 8 names and we had people vote on which ones they liked. Surprisingly Floopy Head was on the list and was the one that got the most votes. Now whenever someone see's our name they either mispronouce it as floppy or think what the heck? At least we're the first thing that comes up when you google us.
Vick - Your sound may be just as unconventional as your name, describe the feel and your influences.
Charles - Our sound is just really starting to come together. For a while we wanted to be a jazz band that combined hip-hop and jazz and brought music to some new level. We soon realized that there many jazz musicians who like hip hop and have been trying to do the same thing for years. We figured we couldn't stay in the same box forever. We all come from very diverse backgrounds and unconsciencously we all bring these different influences to the table when we come together to play. Our guitar player likes alot of experimental rock music whereas our keyboard player is really gospel and R&B influenced. This leads to a big collage of sounds. On top of this we have a MC holding it down and the end result is hip hop some type of way.
Vick -Who is in Floopy Head?
Charles - Floopy Head consists of: Chris Gee "Origin-Ill(ill like sick so orginal is what it sounds like not origin 3) Killer Mentalist" a.k.a The Jazz Poet-vocals, Jasen "Weaverman" Weaver-bass, Stephen "Saxy Slim" Gladney-saxophones, Tyler "Ginsberry" Ginsberg-trombone, Cliff"Super-Cliff" Hines-guitar/????, Shea"Dizzle" Pierre-keys, Luke Sahma-dj, Charles "nick name TBA" Burchell-drums
Vick -How did you all meet?
Charles- Floopy Head met at a recording session. The band that was being recorded was The Black Notes which most of the Floopy Head members are apart of. Chris our MC was the engineer recording us. After the session we started a jam session and he started rapping and the rest is history.
Vick -Where can we hear more of you music...download?
Charles - If you want to hear more Floopy Head music go to myspace.com/floopyhead (to be edited) or imeem.com/floopyhead. Also search for our videos on youtube. If you want to download the music you can find us on Itunes. We will also have some free mixtapes avaliable in march

Idk about you but I love Drake, or maybe I just love Canadians. But whatever the case I'm anticipating the release of So Far Gone, his new mixtape but it seems as if Weezy intervened and it's not gonna drop anytime soon. To me, and you can quote me on this, it seems as if Wayne's influence RUINS a lot of great artists. I'm not bashing him, he does his thing, but don't mess with the release of other artists' work son, that just isn't cool...
but anyways here's Drake ft. Trey Songs - She Just Wanna Dance
for your listening pleasure.

I've really shyed away from the funny random videos. I use to be good at finding 'em. I first seen this guy months ago. As you may know I have a fetish for bums lol. Dude can spit a lil bit though. Type in Notrious bum on Youtube to see more of this guy.
I would like to send a special shoutout to my female cousins. Without them I wouldn't have a clue as to what a clutch is. But each of these are handmade so you dont have to worry some girl having the same purse as you.
You can get this at boutiquemix. Or if you know someone that's locked up, you can get them to make one for you. Dont front like you never got a leather belt with your name on it or one of those wooden key chains from your aunt or uncle in jail.
When things like this happen I always find myself wishing I was that student. If my teacher comes on to me, we're gonna get it poppin'!
Big ups to the guys over at Helloooooo. They do nothing but original blogging.
I am sooo fascinated with letters ever since I bought that Helvetica Alphabet shirt from American Apparel. (I link it everytime I mention it ^_^) Although I think they're for females, I would sure like to get one of these. Click here to own your own NOW!

You ever was watching basketball & a certain player is doing his thing the whole game but when it comes down to that last shot he just messes s&*& up??? No well that's how I felt while listening to this. I thought Drake could do no wrong. He damn sure didnt do right on this track.
